Friends, planning for our long-delayed Reunion in San Diego, CA is fully underway.\u00a0\u00a0 The new dates are April 21 \u2013 24, 2022.\u00a0 The theme for this event remains \u2018Big Safari Support to the Predator and Reaper Programs,\u2019 and former USAF Chief of Staff, General Jumper, has again agreed to be our Banquet Speaker.\u00a0 It was General Jumper\u2019s foresight and personal support that was key to Big Safari\u2019s weaponizing of the Predator UAS.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Due to scheduling conflicts, we will be changing the event itinerary slightly. At this Reunion, the golf tournament will be held on Friday the 22nd<\/sup> instead of the typical Thursday. We simply couldn\u2019t get the Torrey Pines Golf Course for a tournament on Thursday. Instead, on Thursday the 21st<\/sup>, we will be hosted by General Atomics to get briefings on the Predator and Reaper programs, and the early Big Safari efforts to create the systems that they became. <\/p>\n\n\n\n We don\u2019t yet have specific cost and timing information as these are still being firmed up. However, we will continue to provide updates over the coming months. Generally, the following is the Reunion Schedule:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Wednesday, 20 April: Evening BSA Board of Directors Meeting, General Registration\/Check-in<\/p>\n\n\n\n Thursday, 21 April: Reunion formally begins, Late Morning Tour to General Atomics Facility, Evening Ice Breaker<\/p>\n\n\n\n Friday, 22 April: 0730 Golf Tournament\/Morning Alternative, evening Dinner Cruise<\/p>\n\n\n\n Saturday, 23 April: Morning BSA Member Meeting, Evening Banquet<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sunday, 24 April: Departures<\/p>\n\n\n\n We hope to see many of the Association Membership at this exciting event!
